Located south of Seattle, this regional public utility
is an alliance of three cities, serving more than
119,000 residents. They operate a complex system
of treatment plants and related infrastructure, as well
as an education center and a regional services center.
The utility wanted to migrate their SharePoint 2013
tenant to the Microsoft cloud, to take advantage of
modern features and the security provided by M365.
In addition, they had legacy solutions that would need
to be migrated and integrated. The utility approached
Pico Logic to migrate their tenant and redesign their
SharePoint intranet site.

The utility wanted to migrate their SharePoint 2013 tenant to the Microsoft cloud, to take advantage of modern features and the security provided by M365. In addition, they had legacy solutions that would need to be migrated and integrated. The utility approached Pico Logic to migrate their tenant and redesign their SharePoint intranet site.

The utility's goals were:

The utility was restricted by:

  • Departments with distinct and specialized requirements
  • Multiple third-party software integrations to navigate
  • Learning curve for transitioning from SharePoint 2013 to modern platform
  • Significant data cleanup required prior to migration
  • Legacy administration practices in place

Our Solution:
